I’m delighted to be participating in the Biennale of Colour and Light 2026 at West End Art Space in Melbourne, alongside more than 85 Victorian women abstract artists.
Now in its sixth edition, the Biennale was established in 2016. The exhibition celebrates the diversity of contemporary abstract art, bringing together emerging and established artists whose practices explore colour, light, form, movement, and materiality.
I’ll be exhibiting Seek (xxx) (2015), an ink and pigment work on paper. My interest in abstraction lies in its ability to create a space for quiet contemplation. Free from recognisable imagery or narrative, the work invites viewers to slow down, step away from the distractions of everyday life, and turn their attention inward.
Having recently returned to Melbourne after a decade living and working in Asia, it’s especially meaningful to be part of an exhibition celebrating the creative voices of women artists in Victoria.
I warmly invite you to visit the exhibition and discover the wonderful range of artistic approaches on display.
